Responsibilities
- Help customers build applications and services on the AWS platform.
- Define the scope, objectives, and success criteria of customer engagements.
- Provide technical support and help ensure timely, successful delivery of implementation projects.
- Advise customers on application architectures and integration approaches using AWS technologies.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge with the Solutions Architect community.
- Understand AWS market segments, customer bases, and industry verticals.
- Use internal Amazon systems to support customer engagements and business development.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in one or more technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- At least 5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or internet industries.
- Preferred: experience working in software development or internet-related industries.
- Preferred: experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Preferred: experience working with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.
