Responsibilities
- Act as the Greater Asia technical authority and escalation point for Baxter Digital solutions delivered and supported through authorized distributors.
- Lead solution qualification, architecture, implementation planning, EMR integration, interoperability, infrastructure, connectivity, cybersecurity, data privacy, deployment readiness, and support-model assessments.
- Establish and govern regional technical standards, implementation methods, documentation requirements, and support expectations.
- Assess distributor capability, define enablement and improvement plans, and coach distributor teams to design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot authorized Baxter Digital solutions.
- Lead technical reviews and complex or high-risk implementations, recommending approval, remediation, escalation, or exception handling.
- Coordinate resolution of critical technical issues across distributors, country teams, service, product, IT, cybersecurity, quality, regulatory, and global support organizations.
- Support strategic customer engagements by translating technical requirements, risks, dependencies, and solution options into business terms.
- Monitor support performance, recurring issues, implementation quality, capability gaps, and customer-impacting risks to drive corrective actions.
- Capture regional requirements and contribute to international service, product, and digital roadmaps and capability plans.
- Maintain communication with regional and international stakeholders regarding opportunities, implementation progress, risks, dependencies, escalations, and corrective actions.
- Promote reuse of technical solutions, lessons learned, service documentation, and troubleshooting practices across the distributor network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Substantial progressive experience in healthcare technology, including senior-level accountability for complex, business-critical programs across multiple Greater Asia markets.
- Demonstrated experience enabling and governing distributors, channel partners, or third-party service organizations and driving sustained performance improvement.
- Proven ability to provide senior technical leadership across Greater Asia and influence country, regional, and global stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Recognized expertise in healthcare digital solution architecture, clinical workflows, EMR platforms, HL7 and FHIR interoperability, application integration, infrastructure, cloud or hybrid environments, and enterprise deployment models.
- Ability to make architecture, cybersecurity, data privacy, quality, regulatory, deployment-readiness, and operational-risk decisions and escalate material exceptions appropriately.
- Experience leading complex and high-risk customer, distributor, and cross-functional engagements, resolving escalations, shaping commercially viable solutions, and communicating recommendations and business impact to senior leaders.
- Effectiveness operating across cultures, time zones, regulatory environments, and varying levels of distributor and market maturity.
- Ability and willingness to travel across Greater Asia as required.
- Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
