Responsibilities
- Develop system architectures and solution designs for industrial digital transformation initiatives involving SCADA, industrial data platforms, analytics, and operational intelligence.
- Conduct technical discovery workshops and translate customer business and operational requirements into scalable software architectures.
- Lead software implementation projects from initiation through commissioning, handover, and post-implementation support.
- Manage project scope, schedules, risks, costs, resources, quality, progress, and contractual delivery expectations.
- Coordinate software engineers, system integrators, operations personnel, cybersecurity specialists, project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Support FAT, SAT, UAT, commissioning, user training, technical documentation, functional specifications, testing plans, and deployment methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership, customer presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, workshops, and technical advisory support.
- Lead the Malaysia Flex Program by managing customer relationships, contracted commitments, business outcomes, adoption, renewals, and upselling.
- Support account managers and sales teams with opportunity qualification, proposals, solution architectures, estimates, tender submissions, and technical bid evaluations.
- Identify opportunities involving industrial AI, analytics, cloud technologies, digital transformation, and improved operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, industrial IT, information systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience, with the posting specifying 5–10 years, in industrial automation, digitalization, industrial software, or system integration.
- Experience delivering software implementation or digital transformation projects in water and wastewater, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or process industries.
- Technical experience with industrial software, industrial data infrastructure, SCADA and HMI systems, industrial communication protocols, industrial networking, cloud platforms, industrial cybersecurity, data analytics and visualization, digital twins, and AI-enabled industrial applications.
- AVEVA experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of MES, APM and predictive analytics, asset information management, industrial AI, operations intelligence platforms, and digital transformation frameworks.
- Ability to bridge operational technology and information technology environments and communicate with engineers and business leaders.
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, project ownership, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia.
