Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical and delivery interlock for assigned AI opportunities from intake through solution approval, contracting, and handover.
- Lead or shape end-to-end AI architectures across application, model, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains.
- Evaluate AI models, cloud services, orchestration frameworks, and third-party technologies against cost, performance, scalability, security, and delivery requirements.
- Develop commercial constructs, estimates, pricing assumptions, resource models, statements of work, and delivery plans.
- Perform solution and deal assurance, identifying technical, data, security, privacy, legal, commercial, and delivery risks and coordinating mitigations.
- Develop or coordinate prototypes and proofs of concept to validate model performance, data, integration, security, scalability, latency, and cost assumptions.
- Lead transition and handover to delivery while maintaining approved architecture, scope, commercial, resource, risk, and client-commitment baselines.
- Create reusable AI architectures, delivery patterns, estimation models, proposal assets, and governance methods while coaching regional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, technical consulting, pre-sales, or delivery while engaging senior clients.
- Business-level Japanese language skill with minimum JLPT N2 or native proficiency, plus business-level English.
- Advanced enterprise solution architecture knowledge across application, integration, data, infrastructure, cloud, and security domains.
- Strong knowledge of AI, generative AI, and agentic AI patterns, including model selection and evaluation, RAG, prompting, grounding, data pipelines, APIs, and vector databases.
- Experience designing or validating enterprise AI and generative AI solutions, including prototypes and enterprise-platform and data integration.
- Experience with major cloud platforms and their AI, data, integration, and security services.
- Experience defining delivery scope, work breakdown structures, resource models, estimates, delivery plans, commercial models, pricing assumptions, statements of work, and technical or delivery risk controls.
- Ability to transition solutions into delivery and collaborate across sales, commercial, engineering, delivery, security, legal, and partner teams.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform cloud or AI certification is preferred; TOGAF and additional AI, security, privacy, project, agile, or service-management certifications are advantageous.
- Regulated-environment and AI managed-services, MLOps, or LLMOps experience is advantageous.
