Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, optimize, migrate, and troubleshoot software-based solutions integrating Cisco products with customer and third-party environments.
- Develop middleware prototypes, APIs, automation frameworks, reusable software tools, and integration solutions.
- Guide pilot implementations, perform customer implementation and integration work, and solve advanced product use cases.
- Create, review, and document technical deliverables, recommendations, implementation techniques, and reusable solution patterns.
- Build complex lab environments and provide proactive problem resolution across Cisco and third-party technologies.
- Engage customers, Sales, Customer Success, Support, TAC, product teams, vendors, and partners as a technical advisor.
- Support Executive Briefings and QBRs and communicate technical recommendations, issues, schedule changes, and evolving outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline deliverables, migrations, configuration updates, data collection, and recurring workflows while validating output quality.
- Provide product feedback, vulnerability insights, competitive analysis, and guidance on interoperability and innovation opportunities.
- Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge management, technical documentation, secure coding, automation, and integration practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience, master's degree plus 3 years, PhD plus 0 years, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Professional-level certification such as CCNP or an equivalent relevant certification.
- Expertise in software architecture, integration, platform engineering, programmability, automation, orchestration, virtualization, and middleware.
- Experience supporting customer implementations, migrations, integrations, troubleshooting, and technical deliverables.
- Ability to explain complex integration concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across customers, Cisco teams, vendors, and partners.
- Japanese-language capability is indicated by the role title.
