Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to understand business goals and requirements.
- Design and communicate end-to-end product architectures across business, application, infrastructure, data, and security domains.
- Support technical roadmaps, technical debt management, infrastructure end-of-life planning, and prioritization of technical deliverables.
- Evaluate existing systems, infrastructure, vendors, and third-party software or services and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and development guidelines using ArchiMate notation and Arc42.
- Assess solutions for scalability, performance, security, and compliance with architectural standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a cross-domain IT Architect.
- Experience delivering IT services for the retail and commercial financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions using cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies such as API management, ESB, or microservices.
- Experience designing and implementing data architecture, data modeling, and database systems.
- Familiarity with deployment processes as code.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design principles and their application to solution design.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- TOGAF or AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect certifications are preferred.
