Responsibilities
- Deliver complex improvements to scalable, reliable, and secure engineering platforms.
- Implement and improve infrastructure changes using Terraform and existing module patterns.
- Apply least-privilege and secure-by-default principles across AWS accounts.
- Build automation scripts and tooling with Node.js or Python.
- Support and review mid-level engineers through context-sharing and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Delivery Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders on delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies.
- Identify risks, blockers, and quality concerns and help keep delivery on track.
- Test, validate, and deploy infrastructure changes through CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, IAM, or CloudFront.
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure changes with Terraform in complex or large-scale cloud environments.
- Ability to work independently on complex platform engineering problems while communicating and collaborating effectively.
- Experience using Node.js or Python for automation, scripting, or integration work.
- Understanding of secure cloud design, least privilege, account structure, and service-to-service authentication such as OIDC.
- Experience using AI tooling for coding, code review, research, or productivity improvements.
- Experience delivering outcomes in agile, delivery-focused teams and raising risks or clarifying priorities.
- Helpful experience with multi-account or multi-region AWS management, CDN, WAF, Git-based CI/CD pipelines, or enterprise-scale AWS environments.
