Responsibilities
- Write, debug, document, and maintain clean Java code according to team standards.
- Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Contribute to eCommerce features and integrations with external systems under guidance.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams on technical implementation and software development lifecycle activities.
- Apply architectural and development guidelines established by the Solution Design team.
- Write unit tests and support code quality and database-related activities.
- Troubleshoot complex or escalated incidents and propose innovative technical solutions.
- Learn new technologies, contribute ideas, and mentor less experienced team members when appropriate.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience is required.
- Graduation is required.
- Strong development skills in Java 11 or above and hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, problem-solving, and SOLID and DRY principles.
- Experience with RESTful web services, SQL queries, and either relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with logging frameworks such as SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito or PowerMock.
- Understanding of exception handling, serialization and deserialization, immutability, collections, generics, annotations, multithreading, Java memory management, and garbage collection.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, code quality tools such as SonarQube, caching concepts, and code management tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
