Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure virtual devices using Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Perform software upgrades and deployments via infrastructure as code.
- Develop automation tools in Go and Python.
- Lead evaluations of new technologies and implement best practices.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security into application workflows.
- Conduct security reviews and threat modeling.
- Leverage AI to enhance work products.
- Drive end-to-end security initiatives.
Requirements
- Security consulting experience with hands-on implementation.
- Experience running web applications and services securely in production.
- 5+ years of experience deploying software using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience managing Linux environments.
- Ability to lead backend service design and implementation.
- Knowledge of security best practices including network isolation and zero trust.
- Familiarity with protocols and data formats like REST and JSON.
- Bonus experience in Rust or C++.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
