Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure network products and APIs for cloud services.
- Implement secure, thoroughly tested features and APIs following software engineering best practices.
- Share responsibility for service delivery, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Automate and optimize technical workflows and processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resilient solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing software with Go, C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of interface and communication technologies such as gRPC and database systems including PostgreSQL and MariaDB.
- Experience developing and deploying software with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts.
- Cloud networking experience with products such as VPC, NAT Gateway, routing tables, VPN, load balancers, and DNS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in written and verbal formats.
- Ability to take ownership of challenges and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility for production-system reliability and performance.
