Base Salary
$220k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine-learning models for ads targeting and ranking.
- Develop ML solutions such as identity graphs to improve ad targeting.
- Build and optimize ad-ranking models against campaign objectives such as app installs and link clicks.
- Improve targeting and ranking using on-platform and off-platform signals.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams on the Ads ML roadmap.
- Scale ML infrastructure for increasing concurrent ad campaigns while maintaining low-latency decisions.
- Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques for online advertising.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.
- At least 3 years of experience in Ads ML, including areas such as ad ranking, personalization, optimization, privacy-compliant user modeling, targeting, or measurement.
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with applied deep learning, including transformer or embedding models.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and scaling ML-driven advertising systems in real-world applications.
- Experience with real-time ML inference, A/B testing, and optimization frameworks.
- Ability to translate ML evaluation results and performance metrics into actionable product roadmap items.
- Ability to connect business objectives to ML solutions and adapt priorities toward high-impact problems.
- Understanding of performance advertising and how ML affects revenue and advertiser retention is preferred.
- Knowledge of ad-tech standards and concepts such as targeting, retrieval, ranking, pacing, frequency, and auctions is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale recommendation systems, data infrastructure, and distributed computing is preferred.
