Responsibilities
- Participate in the technical design, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of application systems.
- Design and develop structured, testable, efficient Java and web application code, including backend features and components.
- Build automated test suites, quality assurance procedures, test transactions, flowcharts, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Execute full-lifecycle software development, including troubleshooting, debugging, upgrades, deployment, support, and enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering excellence, best practices, continuous improvement, scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Apply security, privacy, risk management, software development lifecycle, and change management controls.
- Provide application development services and technical support for complex scenarios and cross-functional, multi-platform systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring, Angular, and Oracle.
- Strong experience building web applications with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular 16+.
- Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE frameworks, Web Services, HTML/CSS, Web 2.0, and MySQL or Oracle databases.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering is preferred.
