Responsibilities

Design and implement backend microservices that model logistics processes.
Own the Billing & Settlement domain, including customer and supplier invoicing, claims management, and billing-related master data.
Contribute to architecture across the full technology stack and critically evaluate existing approaches.
Share operational responsibility for services, including observability, troubleshooting, and performance.
Collaborate with logistics subject-matter experts and cross-functional product team members.
Drive internationalization of the transport management system.
Improve code quality through code reviews, pair programming, and useful engineering standards.
Support frontend development.

Several years of well-founded backend development experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
Deep understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems, including their design.
Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
Solid knowledge of cloud-native development with AWS and Kubernetes.
Practical frontend development experience with TypeScript.
Initiative, strong interest in software architecture, and willingness to take ownership.
Experience with AI tools in the software development process is advantageous.
Experience with Spring Batch and Kafka is advantageous.
Experience with Angular and Angular Material is advantageous.
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is advantageous.
Background in Domain-Driven Design is advantageous.
Interest in the logistics domain and willingness to understand business relationships.
