Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to understand requirements for legacy applications.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle, from ideation and development through maintenance.
- Design and implement functionally effective and technically robust solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, fix, and implement application solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Provide third-line support to end users when required.
- Work independently and proactively identify solutions during periods of intensive workload.
- Collaborate with server and network support departments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of .NET development experience in complex software environments.
- Practical expertise in WinForms application development.
- Strong SQL skills and database-querying knowledge.
- Proficiency with Git and modern version-control practices.
- Ability to work across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience using Visual Studio as a primary development environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in software development.
- A degree in Information Technology or equivalent hands-on experience and expertise.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Knowledge of DB2 databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with NServiceBus messaging architecture is preferred.
- Experience with Entity Framework is preferred.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes is preferred.
- Exposure to ASMX web services is preferred.
- Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum development teams is preferred.
