Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of AI/ML and LLM-based solutions for Fixed Income trading, pricing, risk, and client workflows.
- Translate trade lifecycle processes such as capture, P&L, risk, settlements, and regulatory reporting into intelligent automation and decision-support capabilities.
- Architect scalable, cloud-native AI capabilities across trading, market data, risk, and other FICC platforms.
- Integrate AI solutions with legacy financial ecosystems while supporting real-time processing, resilience, regulatory alignment, and cross-asset interoperability.
- Design scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and harmonization across front-office systems.
- Provide technical leadership across FICC engineering teams and establish AI engineering standards and reusable platforms.
- Collaborate with trading desks, risk teams, product leaders, and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business and regulatory priorities.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong expertise in Fixed Income and Capital Markets front-office systems.
- Experience designing and implementing AI/ML or LLM-based solutions, including agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, and natural language interfaces.
- Deep understanding of trade capture, risk/P&L, settlements, and regulatory reporting, including Dodd-Frank and SDR.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks such as LangChain and Vertex AI or similar platforms.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture patterns, microservices, messaging systems such as Solace and MQ, and cloud-native development.
- Experience designing scalable data pipelines and integrating AI solutions into legacy financial ecosystems.
- Experience guiding engineering teams and collaborating with trading desks, risk teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into actionable solutions.
