Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform using infrastructure as code.
- Build and maintain the deployment path with GitOps and continuous delivery.
- Design least-privilege credentials, network routes, and permissions for safe production data access.
- Establish platform observability and administer Kubernetes workloads.
- Automate operational work, including autoscaling and self-healing, instead of relying on manual intervention.
- Partner with the security team on infrastructure supporting protected health information and multiple tenants.
Requirements
- Deep production AWS experience, including VPC design, cross-region and cross-account data movement, private connectivity, VPN, IAM, RDS, Aurora, SQL Server, read replicas, and S3.
- Ability to design least-privilege access policies and production data access models.
- Production-standard experience with Terraform or CDK.
- Kubernetes administration experience and GitOps delivery experience with Argo CD or similar tools.
- Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and automating operational processes.
- Preferred experience administering cloud data warehouse platforms, database replication, RabbitMQ, Amazon MQ, or infrastructure in healthcare or another regulated and audited environment.
