Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated cloud platform capabilities using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and cloud-native services.
- Define, implement, and govern Azure standards for identity, networking, security, resource management, and compliance.
- Develop automated guardrails and governance controls for consistent and secure cloud deployment and operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Information Security teams to improve cloud architecture, operational resilience, and security posture.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, process improvement, monitoring, observability, and incident reduction.
- Assess and introduce technologies, tooling, and platform capabilities that improve cloud adoption, developer productivity, and infrastructure governance.
- Provide operational guidance, governance, compliance standards, and cloud best practices across cloud deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure in enterprise-scale environments.
- At least 5 years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft Azure services, including governance, identity management, networking, and security controls.
- At least 5 years of experience using infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting infrastructure deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Git.
- At least 5 years of experience working with Linux systems and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, performance, operational, and production support issues at scale.
- Experience supporting multi-account AWS environments, including IAM, networking, and governance controls, is preferred.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as DataDog is preferred.
- Experience with Cloudflare, Snowflake, or Databricks is preferred.
- Experience implementing cloud compliance, security, and operational governance frameworks is preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Ability to support priority incidents, executive stakeholders, or wider EMEA initiatives when needed.
