Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end AI/ML model research and development from literature review through production deployment and monitoring.
- Develop computer vision and video analytics models for object detection, tracking, re-identification, video search, and scene understanding.
- Evaluate, fine-tune, and adapt large pre-trained and foundational models for security-focused tasks.
- Collaborate on dataset creation, annotation, quality control, and data pipeline optimization.
- Optimize models for latency, throughput, computational efficiency, and real-time edge deployment.
- Create prototypes, review research literature, generate applied computer vision patents, and collaborate with product development teams.
- Partner with software engineers to deploy models and improve machine learning deployment processes and tools.
- Establish metric-driven evaluation and validation frameworks using measures such as Precision, Recall, and F1-Score.
Requirements
- PhD in a technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in applied AI research.
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures and Vision-Language Models.
- Experience programming in Python and using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
