Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests, test frameworks, and testing utilities.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and API testing.
- Develop automation solutions using Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, and/or Shell scripting.
- Test and validate REST APIs, SOAP services, and JMS queues.
- Perform database validation and troubleshooting using SQL.
- Analyze test results, investigate defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Work with applications and services running in Linux-based environments.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to improve product quality and test coverage.
- Test telecom network and Network Management System solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing and test automation.
- Hands-on programming experience with Java and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with JBoss or similar application server technologies.
- Strong knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP, and JMS queues.
- Good knowledge of Linux environments.
- Experience with Python, Perl, and/or Shell scripting.
- Understanding of LTE Core, IP/MPLS networks, network management concepts, protocols, and data modelling.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Previous experience with Network Management Systems or EMS, complex or distributed telecom solutions, and test automation framework development is preferred.
