Responsibilities
- Implement well-defined software features using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
- Fix defects and troubleshoot Linux-based embedded systems.
- Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration and system testing.
- Support the team’s CI/CD workflows and collaborate with software engineers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and communicate progress, questions, and blockers.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and an understanding of Node.js.
- Understanding of web fundamentals and REST APIs.
- Basic Linux knowledge and confidence using a command-line environment.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, source control, testing, and debugging.
- Fluent written and verbal English, a problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
- Preferred: personal, academic, internship, or commercial projects using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, or React.
- Preferred: exposure to Docker, CI/CD, or GitLab; basic understanding of Ethernet, serial communication, or TLS/SSL; and familiarity with IoT, embedded Linux, hardware-software integration, Jira, or Confluence.
