Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications for Capital Markets business processes.
- Build scalable APIs and microservices using FastAPI or Django.
- Develop AI and machine learning solutions using enterprise-approved frameworks.
- Integrate applications with banking systems, data platforms, and market data services.
- Design technical solutions, data integration strategies, API strategies, and contribute to architecture discussions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering standards and secure development practices.
- Develop automated testing solutions and support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product owners on sprint deliveries and production implementations.
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- 4–9 years of software development experience.
- Strong Python programming expertise.
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, REST APIs, microservices, AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD, and Git.
- Understanding of Capital Markets and Banking operations.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs, FSO products, Financial Crime, Risk, or Compliance platforms, and front-end development with React or Angular.
- Cloud certifications and AI/ML certifications are preferred.
