Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Python, and Cucumber.
- Define and execute an automation strategy aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, maintainability, and Agile quality engineering.
- Integrate continuous testing and delivery into CI/CD pipelines using containerized environments.
- Build and manage isolated, scalable testing environments with Docker and OpenShift.
- Oversee functional, performance, and resilience testing for critical trading systems, including the Lightspeed platform.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate AI-powered development tools and emerging test automation practices to improve productivity and test effectiveness.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior software or automation engineering role with demonstrated leadership and strategic impact.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.
- Deep hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
- In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol.
- Strong expertise with Docker and OpenShift.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Experience in financial services, including exposure to trading systems.
- Ability to architect solutions for complex technical challenges and solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of exchange connectivity is a significant advantage.
