Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and lead CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain containerized applications and orchestration environments using Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and AKS.
- Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability using DataDog.
- Collaborate with development teams to support integration, deployment, bug fixes, and new releases.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure security and compliance through standard processes and audits.
- Mentor and guide team members and promote continuous improvement.
- Drive proofs of concept and onboard new tools, including AI-assisted development and intelligent automation.
- Develop automation tools and agents for CI/CD execution, code validation, and incident resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab, plus knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and YAML-based pipelines.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Shell or PowerShell scripting and Python.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum practices.
- Preferred exposure to on-premises-to-cloud migration.
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL optimization.
- Familiarity with Control-M or other scheduling tools is desirable.
- Experience in financial services or investment banking environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Exposure to AI/ML-powered tooling in software engineering or DevOps workflows.
- Experience integrating automation or AI tools into CI/CD pipelines or developer workflows.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in London, UK.
