Responsibilities
- Contribute to front-end experiences for the Android Search app in collaboration with product managers, UX partners, and other cross-functional teammates.
- Implement features and write high-quality, testable code with guidance from senior engineers.
- Test assigned features across teamfood, dogfood, and production environments and assist with triaging product or system issues.
- Manage assigned work to meet deadlines, communicate progress proactively, and escalate technical challenges.
- Use AI development tools to optimize daily workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- At least 1 year of Android application development experience.
- Preferred: experience with Kotlin, integration testing, experiment design, cross-functional collaboration, user-facing product development, and Android or mobile development.
