Android Mobile Engineer
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Develop Android applications, with occasional contributions to backend projects.
- Write, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain production software.
- Work across the software stack, including backend microservices.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications and deliver high-quality customer features.
- Take responsibility for software engineering, development experience, QA, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering groups located around the world.
Requirements
- At least three years of commercial software development experience.
- Experience developing Android applications.
- Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
- Experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve day-to-day efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a global-first mindset.
