Responsibilities
- Contribute technical expertise to the Android guild and promote technical excellence.
- Develop and ship scalable Android features within a service-oriented architecture.
- Own product development by collaborating with cross-functional roles and ensuring quality and delivery.
- Build platform services that support and accelerate product development.
- Mentor other engineers and participate in an iterative development and continuous delivery environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the JVM ecosystem.
- Experience developing and shipping scalable features in a service-oriented architecture.
- Commitment to delivering reliable and maintainable software using iterative development and continuous delivery.
- Experience building platform services that support product development; platform or foundations-team experience is preferred.
- Experience with Kotlin, RxJava2, Kotlin Flow, MVVM, Jetpack Compose, and Anvil for native Android development.
