Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, scalable backend services supporting high-volume on-chain transaction flows across EVM and non-EVM networks.
- Own backend components and APIs from architecture decisions through production deployment.
- Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on-chain data sources, and blockchain nodes across multiple chains.
- Research and evaluate emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and standards.
- Optimize production systems for performance, reliability, and security by reducing latency and increasing throughput.
- Collaborate with product, protocol research, and platform engineering teams.
- Drive features from inception through delivery at scale while owning the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent degree/experience.
- Deep blockchain and Web3 experience, including transaction lifecycles, consensus mechanisms, smart contract interactions, and on-chain data.
- Experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems, including EVM-compatible chains and non-EVM chains such as Solana, TON, or Tron.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and operating microservices in production CI/CD environments.
- Strong understanding of security principles, cryptography, and blockchain security best practices.
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols such as AMMs, lending markets, bridging infrastructure, or on-chain routing is advantageous.
- Experience with Web3 tooling and libraries such as ethers.js, viem, web3.js, and Solana web3.js.
- Demonstrated ability to take products from inception through delivery at scale.
- Full stack experience with React and frontend development is preferred.
- Ability to make technical decisions with limited oversight, manage ambiguity, and collaborate effectively.
