Responsibilities

Technically lead software engineering teams through complex challenges and successful client digital transformations.
Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement within technical teams.
Shape the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle across development, testing, deployment, and operational phases.
Implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and efficient release management strategies.
Improve system scalability and response times through load testing, caching, database-query optimization, and application-logic optimization.
Provide technical subject matter expertise for bids and client proposals and discuss proposed implementations with prospective clients.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, product, design, and cross-disciplinary teams on software and internal projects.

Experience managing and technically leading a software engineering team.
Ability to interact credibly with clients regarding technology and overall delivery.
Capability to improve software delivery across development, testing, deployment, and operations.
Ability to implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and release management strategies.
Expertise in TDD, contract testing, secure coding, event-driven architecture, and platform migration.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities.
Technical expertise sufficient to shape bids, client proposals, and prospective-client sales discussions.

Hybrid working with at least two days per week in the office or on a client site, and assignments potentially requiring up to five client-site days per week.
