Responsibilities
- Develop features and engineering capabilities for the squad’s products.
- Collaborate across the full development lifecycle, from requirements discussions through cloud deployment.
- Operate and improve highly available products and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Provision infrastructure in AWS.
- Provide tools that support data-driven decision-making.
- Support and mentor more junior engineers within the squad.
- Collaborate with other squads on technology, patterns, and engineering approaches.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience applying design and implementation best practices to web application development.
- Experience building web applications with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and web application frameworks.
- Experience with browser testing tools such as BrowserStack.
- Experience provisioning infrastructure in AWS.
- A quality-focused engineering approach with a test-first philosophy.
- Preferred experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform.
- Preferred experience with Redux, Scully, Cypress, or Nest.js.
- Payments-industry exposure, especially to cards and other payment schemes, is a bonus.
- Exposure to PCI-DSS is a bonus.
