Responsibilities
- Develop backend application services and APIs.
- Integrate systems with AWS, GCP, and external cloud services.
- Optimize backend components for speed and scalability.
- Implement and manage caching, queuing, and background processing.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate as part of an agile engineering team and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in periodic on-call duties.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software.
- Strong Python coding skills and broad knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including NumPy, Pandas, and Asyncio.
- Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Django REST Framework, Flask, or others.
- Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
- Experience with caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, and queuing systems.
- Experience with Linux and shell scripting.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and interest to learn and introduce new technologies and build real-world applications at scale.
