Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize scalable and secure cloud architectures.
- Build performance-tuned Kubernetes and Amazon EKS clusters at scale.
- Develop cDSO DoD DevSecOps pipelines using Iron Bank, hardened images, and container scanning.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Helm in disconnected environments.
- Work with AWS GovCloud IL5 and IL6 environments.
- Perform application performance tuning at scale, including gaming and simulation workloads.
- Align cloud solutions with the Well-Architected Framework.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
- Strong Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience, including building performance-tuned clusters at scale.
- Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud, specifically IL5 and IL6 environments.
- cDSO (DoD DevSecOps) pipeline development experience, including Iron Bank, hardened images, and container scanning.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and Helm in disconnected environments.
- Experience with application performance tuning at scale; gaming or simulation workload experience is ideal.
- Secret security clearance.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or similar is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
