Base Salary
$109k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, maintenance, and release of Windows desktop GUI tools using C#, .NET, and WPF.
- Develop and support tools for initialization, configuration, tuning, visualization, export, automation, and debugging of embedded automotive radio and audio products.
- Evolve tooling for Si479xx, Si469xx, and next-generation hardware and software platforms.
- Translate embedded firmware and hardware capabilities into customer and internal workflows for radio, audio, system configuration, and hardware-definition use cases.
- Collaborate with firmware, DSP, validation, hardware, applications, product-line, and customer-facing teams to align tools with APIs, roadmaps, and customer priorities.
- Support evaluation, tuning, field testing, demonstrations, debugging, and issue isolation workflows.
- Contribute to release planning, documentation, Confluence/Jira workflows, issue triage, and technical backlog prioritization.
- Help define the tooling strategy for exposing new hardware and firmware through GUI and configuration environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 6 years of directly relevant experience in software engineering, applications engineering, or technical tools development.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, WPF, and Windows desktop application development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented software design, maintainable architecture, and debugging complex codebases.
- Experience developing software that interfaces with embedded hardware or firmware.
- Ability to troubleshoot across application software, APIs, embedded behavior, board and hardware interactions, and customer workflows.
- Experience with WPF/MVVM, multithreaded applications, asynchronous patterns, and complex UI/workflow design is desired.
- Background in automotive infotainment, radio management, digital radio, audio processing, embedded ARM-based systems, or audio DSP concepts is desired.
- Familiarity with AM/FM/HD Radio/DAB/DRM/CDR, audio-topology tools, SPI/I2C/UART, configuration and export file formats, test-equipment control, lab automation, or Windows installer/build/release workflows is desired.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, customer evaluation platforms, demo systems, or embedded-product development and support tools is desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

- U.S. base pay range of USD $108,700–$226,800 per year, with actual pay varying by experience, skills, education, business needs, market demands, duties, and location.
