Base Salary
$163k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assess current and future system architectures and recommend software infrastructure and technology approaches.
- Analyze design shortcomings, mitigate risks, resolve security alerts, and recommend solutions for identified weaknesses.
- Lead and coordinate development teams in producing scalable and robust software designs.
- Provide architectural guidance, technical advice, product analysis, white papers, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose software products and perform quality-assurance reviews.
- Collaborate with system architects, product managers, sales engineers, solution architects, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as a technical leader who improves development standards and team capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8–12+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years leading software design for medium- to large-complexity projects and 8+ years of software development experience.
- 8+ years of Windows kernel driver experience and 8+ years developing in C or C++.
- 5+ years using the Windows kernel debugger, including deep knowledge of Windows file-system architecture.
- Experience with data encryption, key management, privileged-access control, policy management, application encryption, and tokenization.
- Experience with DevOps Services REST API in multithreaded, highly distributed client/server development.
- Experience using AI LLMs such as Claude and ChatGPT throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: system programming, file-system and storage-driver development, data-security software, DevOps tooling, cloud/container technology, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, collaboration, consensus-building, and architectural influence skills.
