Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software for customer and internal needs.
- Work with software requirements from customers, application engineers, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers.
- Contribute to existing and new software projects using Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Collaborate with applications and systems engineers to troubleshoot system failures and propose software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and apply new technologies to improve developer experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Technical expertise in Java, with Kotlin knowledge strongly preferred.
- Experience with JavaFX or GUI development, including JavaScript or TypeScript exposure, is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, behavior-driven development, and unit testing.
- Strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab is preferred.
- Basic electronics, microcontroller programming, and bus communications experience is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
