Base Salary
$103k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify customer requirements and develop software components and services integral to the architecture.
- Solve technical problems and build solutions across the front end, back end, and distributed infrastructure platforms.
- Translate user stories and technical requirements into functional code.
- Build, test, review, operate, and deliver software systems using software development lifecycle practices.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of systems with attention to security, reliability, and scalability.
- Work with product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Define and manage deliverables, engagement economics reports, resource plans, budgets, and project statuses.
- Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead and travel as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience, with 2–4 years of relevant experience typically preferred.
- Hands-on experience with full-stack JavaScript development using Node.js and frameworks such as React and Express.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience building cloud-native and microservices architecture applications and platforms.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication, complex problem-solving, collaboration, and client relationship skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs.
- Preferred: passion for blockchain and experience with Ethereum, Quorum, and/or Solidity.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, SaaS, ERP systems, and SAP.
- Preferred: ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
