Backend Software Engineer - Market Data Services

Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and services for Clear Street’s core platform.
- Build highly scalable services that process financial transactions across multiple asset classes.
- Design flexible APIs, strategic caching, and robust signaling for market and reference data services.
- Mentor teammates and help evolve technical standards, best practices, and system-design approaches.
Requirements
- At least eight years of professional experience implementing highly scalable services, using Go.
- Experience designing and building flexible APIs that support reliable microservice architectures and consistent data delivery.
- Experience building systems that solve complex business problems and handle massive amounts of data.
- Interest and experience in scale, distributed systems, and related technologies.
- Strong command of object-oriented design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
- Experience mentoring team members, defining engineering standards, and applying system-design practices.
