Base Salary

$165k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the core payments infrastructure supporting member payments, billing, corporate accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Design and maintain payment-processing architecture and integrations with payment processors, acquirers, and card networks.
  • Own recurring membership billing, including charges, failed-payment recovery, and cancellations.
  • Support corporate and B2B billing surfaces.
  • Implement and maintain PCI-compliant data-handling practices.
  • Own integrations with SevenRooms, Toast, Square, and other POS or restaurant technology platforms.
  • Build fault-tolerant integration layers that reflect restaurant-system operating realities.
  • Design operator reconciliation and payout flows and scalable integration architecture for new venues and markets.
  • Collaborate with Finance on reconciliation, reporting, and transaction-data workflows.
  • Work with Security Engineering on fraud controls, access patterns, and the financial layer’s security posture.
  • Partner with Product on payments experiences across the member app, operator tools, and marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on production payments systems.
  • Hands-on experience with payment processors and a thorough understanding of authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Experience building subscription or membership billing systems, including failure recovery and lifecycle management.
  • Prior experience integrating with POS or restaurant technology platforms.
  • Working knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance requirements.
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders across finance, operations, and restaurant operators.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment involving cross-functional projects.
  • Interest in Dorsia’s product, member experience, and hospitality mission.
