Base Salary
$165k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the core payments infrastructure for all financial transactions on the Dorsia platform.
- Design and maintain payment processing architecture and build integrations with payment processors.
- Manage the membership billing lifecycle, including recurring charges and cancellation flows.
- Support corporate and B2B billing surfaces alongside consumer products.
- Implement PCI-compliant data handling practices for all payments.
- Own integrations with POS systems and restaurant technology platforms.
- Build robust integration layers that account for operational realities.
- Design operator-side reconciliation and payout flows.
- Collaborate with Finance on reconciliation and reporting.
- Work with Security Engineering on fraud controls and security posture.
- Partner with Product to evolve payment experiences across platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with 2 years focused on payments systems.
- Hands-on experience with payment processors and transaction lifecycle.
- Experience building subscription or membership billing systems.
- Prior experience integrating with POS or restaurant technology platforms.
- Working knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Genuine interest in the Dorsia product and hospitality.
