Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements for ML-powered features into technical specifications and design documents.
- Collaborate with data scientists to design technically feasible and scalable ML features.
- Develop back-office configuration APIs, high-performance serving endpoints, ML models, algorithms, and data pipelines.
- Deploy, monitor, test, troubleshoot, and maintain ML-powered production features and their APIs.
- Implement monitoring systems and dashboards to track model performance, accuracy, efficiency, and production issues.
- Provide L3 support to client-facing colleagues and document code, design decisions, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to DevOps and MLOps best practices, workflow automation, and continuous delivery practices.
Requirements
- Proven Python engineering experience focused on designing and maintaining AI/ML-powered production features.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS and relevant ML development and deployment services.
- Strong understanding of software architecture for scalable and reliable APIs and microservices.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with common ML frameworks, libraries, and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with predictions, contextual bandits, autosegmentation, MLOps, large-scale data processing, model training, or ML pipelines is beneficial or highly valued.
- Strong learning, teamwork, communication, initiative, quality, and continuous-improvement orientation.
