Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver creative software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal technical solutions and architectural designs.
- Drive team adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
- Establish validation standards for AI outputs and promote secure, compliant, reusable engineering practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the software development life cycle.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry technology systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
