Responsibilities
- Build and take functional responsibility for the Cloud Architecture area covering container and PaaS platforms.
- Define technology roadmaps, architecture standards, and best practices while developing team expertise through coaching.
- Advise customers on PaaS, container, and application architectures across hyperscaler and private-cloud environments.
- Design and implement container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, or comparable technologies.
- Support presales through customer workshops, architecture concepts, proposals, and effort estimates.
- Coordinate order execution from scope clarification through staffing and role assignment.
- Shape the responsible use of AI within the area and act as an AI enabler for customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- Completed IT-related university studies or vocational training.
- Several years of professional experience in public and/or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with functional leadership and readiness to assume responsibility for strategy, growth, capacity, and budget.
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures and experience delivering projects as a Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, identity, and security concepts.
- Experience with Unix, Docker, and Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Knowledge of Helm Charts, Argo CD, Vault, and different Git variants.
- Presales experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication and workshop skills with customers and teams.
- Advanced AI expertise and the ability to promote responsible AI use.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
