Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and delivery of complex frontend software projects from concept through production deployment.
- Develop and maintain React applications, single-page applications, and progressive web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Design responsive, adaptive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
- Implement state management, routing, API integrations, frontend build processes, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor and control application development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, guidance, and comprehensive code reviews for frontend development teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize client-side application performance.
- Recommend and implement frontend security measures and assess application risks.
- Consult with users, clients, stakeholders, and technology teams on application issues and programming solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior stakeholders and junior analysts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in frontend or full-stack application development or systems analysis, with substantial experience in modern UI technologies and React.js.
- Proven experience leading, architecting, and delivering complex frontend software projects through production deployment.
- Expertise in React.js, its ecosystem, application patterns, best practices, Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript for scalable, resilient, high-performance applications.
- Knowledge of software architecture, frontend design patterns including MVVM and unidirectional data flow, and object-oriented and functional programming.
- Experience with Redux, Zustand, Recoil, React Router, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Less, Styled Components, or Emotion.
- Experience building responsive and adaptive interfaces with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility aligned with WCAG standards.
- Experience consuming secure APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Experience with Webpack, Vite, Rollup, npm, and Yarn.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions for automated frontend testing, builds, and deployment.
- Proficiency with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright, with a strong commitment to test-driven development.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, application security, XSS, and CSRF protection.
- Advanced Git expertise, including branching strategies and pull request workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, code review, stakeholder advising, and subject matter expertise.
