Responsibilities
- Transform business needs into Salesforce implementations.
- Design and build reusable, reliable, high-performance Apex classes and triggers.
- Develop and maintain Lightning components, Salesforce flows, and integrations using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs.
- Write and maintain test classes, perform rigorous testing and debugging, and ensure application quality and performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents.
- Participate in code reviews and apply Salesforce development best practices.
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, business stakeholders, and other Salesforce team members on requirements, security, scalability, and platform limits.
- Stay current with Salesforce features and recommend enhancements to existing implementations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required; 4 or more years of Salesforce development experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, its architecture, limitations, data model, security, and sharing models.
- Proficiency with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning components, Salesforce flows, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs, synchronous and asynchronous processes, large data sets, and bulkification.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Salesforce Experience Cloud, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment processes.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, or Administrator are preferred.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and Salesforce team members.
