Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand critical business and operational problems.
- Design and implement data-driven software solutions using Palantir’s platforms.
- Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams with minimal supervision.
- Discuss architecture, work with large-scale data, and build custom web applications.
- Communicate with customer executives and establish strategy for the team.
- Collaborate with other Forward Deployed Software Engineers, product teams, Deployment Strategists, and customers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant post-college work experience.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong coding ability with proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Ability and interest to travel up to 25% to client sites as needed.
- Security clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Spanish language fluency.
- Analytical problem-solving ability and interest in using large-scale data to solve business problems.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, work independently, learn continuously, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
