Base Salary
$130k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage HashiCorp Vault for secret management and access control.
- Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available Vault clusters.
- Integrate Vault with Kubernetes for dynamic secrets and workload identity management.
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to enforce zero trust security policies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for Vault administration.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Vault performance in production environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for data protection and security.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Document processes, configurations, and architecture for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Web Application Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience administering HashiCorp Vault in production environments.
- Deep understanding of zero trust security principles in cloud-native platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as TeamCity or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and GCP and their Kubernetes offerings.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
