Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the React/TypeScript web app, iOS app, and backend services.
- Own customer-facing features from problem definition and solution design through rollout and iteration.
- Identify friction in clinic and patient workflows and advocate for product improvements.
- Find and define valuable problems rather than waiting for fully scoped tasks.
- Mentor engineers and improve the team’s design, review, and shipping practices.
- Influence product direction and technical decisions across the Practice Engineering product.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building customer-facing products.
- Demonstrate strong modern frontend skills with React and TypeScript.
- Have backend depth in API design, data modeling, and working with production databases.
- Have experience building and shipping features on iOS alongside web products.
- Show ownership of customer-facing features from problem definition through design, launch, and iteration.
- Have experience partnering with product and design as a peer and contributing product ideas.
- Thrive in a high-ownership, self-directed role on a small, distributed team with limited process.
- Communicate clearly in writing.
- Hands-on experience with AI or agentic systems is preferred.
