Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate distributed services powering analytics, search, speech, computer vision, generative AI, and agentic systems.
- Build and maintain the infrastructure running AI features in production, including deployment and evaluation.
- Contribute to the agentic core platform and internal tooling used across engineering and other product disciplines.
- Own deployment, release, and delivery pipelines and establish improved infrastructure and delivery patterns.
- Make consequential architectural decisions and distribute technical knowledge across the team.
- Partner with backend/API, mobile, and web engineering teams on shared interfaces and infrastructure.
- Participate in a cross-functional agile team spanning design and engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and releasing high-quality software using Python, C++, C#, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer, and Artifact Registry.
- Preferred experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and production services across their full lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms, cloud-native services, containerized workloads, and orchestration.
- Experience using AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools in daily work.
- Experience building or operating production LLM and agent systems, including evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with a compiled language such as Go, Rust, or C++.
- Experience with search infrastructure, indexing pipelines, vector embeddings or databases, Retrieval Augmented Generation, speech systems, or computer vision systems in production.
- Ability to set technical direction and work independently.
