Responsibilities
- Develop software using Java programming.
- Work with vendor application-server implementations such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere, or BEA WebLogic.
- Use web, database, build, version-control, and development tools as applicable to the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in Java programming.
- Solid understanding of one or more application-server implementations, including Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere, or BEA WebLogic.
- Preferred experience with AngularJS, React, BackboneJS, or Knockout JS.
- Preferred experience with NodeJS, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, or Chef is advantageous.
- Familiarity with responsive web design, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
- Proficiency with Git or comparable code-versioning tools.
- Japanese speaking ability and a Japanese certificate at N3 level or above.
- English communication is a plus.
