Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development lifecycle for microservices, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues with guidance from experienced team members.
- Write clean, maintainable, documented, and testable code according to established standards.
- Participate in code reviews and progressively provide feedback to other team members.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, clients, partners, and other team members to deliver quality software.
- Continuously learn and apply cloud-native technologies, development tools, and industry practices.
Requirements
- A university qualification in Software Engineering or a related degree is required.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Linux system concepts is required; Linux kernel or kernel source code exposure is a plus.
- Basic programming skills in C and familiarity with Python and Bash scripting are required.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL is required; SQLite experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, and distributed application concepts is required.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines is required; academic, personal, or internship project experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is expected.
- Preferred qualifications include problem-solving ability, strong communication and collaboration skills, and good written and spoken English communication and presentation skills.
