Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development lifecycle for microservices, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues with guidance from experienced team members.
- Write clean, maintainable, documented, and testable code according to established standards.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers, testers, architects, clients, and partners.
- Continuously learn and apply cloud-native technologies, development tools, and software engineering practices.
Requirements
- A university qualification in Software Engineering or a related degree is required.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Linux system concepts; exposure to the Linux kernel or kernel source code is a plus.
- Basic programming skills in C and familiarity with Python and Bash scripting.
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, cloud-native technologies, microservices, and distributed applications.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines; academic, personal, or internship project experience is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, English communication, and presentation abilities are preferred.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, development practices, and tools.
