Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and automation solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs with internal and external systems.
- Build scripts and automation tools to reduce manual and repetitive work.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on Linux and application servers.
- Lead root-cause analysis across application, database, operating system, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Support upgrades, migrations, incidents, changes, and production-critical activities through the ticketing system.
- Maintain technical documentation and review code and solution designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with development, operations, and network teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Approximately 4–6 years of experience in software development, automation, or application support.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design, and architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with Java SE, Java EE, relevant Java frameworks, application servers, containers, Kubernetes, Linux, relational databases, Git, and scripting languages.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, identity and access management solutions, and telecommunications environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load balancers.
- Familiarity with ticketing and service management platforms, preferably HPE Service Manager.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular, plus monitoring, logging, observability, and highly available systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, end-to-end ownership, and ability to learn new technologies.
